Autodesk have just announced that any unemployed designer who has enrolled on the Autodesk Assist Program and completed their Autodesk Certification can upgrade their free license of Inventor to a commercial version at a fraction of the cost once re-employed.
This initiative is also being rolled out to include graduates who have a student license of Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk say that by upgrading these licenses your next employer could save as much as 85% on the total license cost.
This is a great incentive for any unemployed design engineer to enrol on the Autodesk Assist Program. Not only will you become a more proficient user of Autodesk Inventor, you will also become more employable if your prospective employer can save 85% on the cost of a new license.
